Ouuuhhh yeah: today, I was confirmed to be a member of Microsoft TechConnect! TechConnect is Microsoft’s inner circle for community communications in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and membership is awarded for one year. As a unified platform for all German-speaking technical communities TechConnect offers bidirectional communication between TechConnect members and Microsoft.
The program enables community leaders to directly give feedback to Microsoft concerning all recent developer and IT pro topics and to directly discuss things with the people in charge. And Let’s talk Azure? For our meetup community this means that we will be supported by Microsoft in the future. Furthermore, we now have a possibility to connect with other community leaders or MVPs, to plan joint events, to exchange speakers, and so on. So let’s get right into it, gather more members, plan and schedule meet ups and spread the word!
I’m happy and proud to be part of it as of now and I’m thankful for being able to lift my community engagement to the next level. Thank you, Microsoft, thank you, community!
