Hey folks,
it’s only a few hours to go until we kick off Azure Saturday 2017 with more than 300 attendees at Microsoft’s German headquarter in Munich. I’m writing this blog post to give you some final information about the event.
Breakfast and breaks
We will offer a light breakfast from 8:00 to 9:00 am. Sharp at 9:00 am we will start with our Welcome followed by Donovan Brown’s keynote about DevOps. Between all sessions there will be 20 minutes breaks so there will be enough time for changing rooms, networking, having drinks and so on. Between 12:30 and 2:00 pm we will have lunch at the restaurant (free!) and the event closes with the Azure Pint and raffle between 5:30 and 7:00 pm.
Arrival & Parking
For those of you who arrive by car there is a public parking about 300 meters away from Microsoft’s headquarter. Those of you who have mobility constraints are allowed to use Microsoft’s parking garage within the building. In that case please contact security in order to be allowed to enter.

If you arrive by subway please use line U6. Stations Nordfriedhof and Alte Heide are within walking distance to Microsoft’s headquarter.
Mobile agenda
On https://agenda.azuresaturday.de you can view an agenda that was optimized for smartphone access. In addition to that you will find a printed schedule in your attendee bags.
No-show fee
Please make sure to check in at the registration counters so you are handed-out your badge and to make sure we have registered your attendance. Attendees who are not checked in will have to pay the no-show fee you have accepted while booking your free ticket. The no-show money will be donated after the event.
Yeah!
We are so excited and can’t wait to have you all around and to spend an awesome day together at Microsoft in Munich. One last demand: if you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to inform us. Max, Ben and I will be around all the day and you will recognize us wearing white Azure Saturday shirts.
In the name of the orga team: safe travels and see you all tomorrow,
Tom
