Azure Saturday 2018 – Recap

On Saturday, 26th of May 2018 we hosted the second Azure Saturday at Microsoft Germany’s headquarter in Munich. It was an awesome day with 372 Azure enthusiasts attending the event!

Let’s rub a little DevOps on it!

It all started with Donovan Brown’s keynote in the morning which has been recorded and recently uploaded on our YouTube channel.

After the keynote, our awesome speakers covered topics such as Azure Security, DevOps, Serverless, AI, SAP on Azure, Azure Stack, Log Analytics, and many more in 4 parallel tracks and 24 sessions – 4 sessions more than we had in 2017! Again, the whole event was free for all attendees what has only been possible due to our event sponsors!

Session slides

Please ask the speakers for their session slides! Some have uploaded their slides on Speaker Deck or Slide Share, others use GitHub or Azure Storage Accounts. You can find the slides to my talk about Azure Security on my Azure Storage Account and on GitHub.

This year’s attendee feedback was amazing, whether it was face to face or in the feedback system we used for the talks. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to get in touch with us on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube or simply comment on this blog post. We’ve already started to plan for next year’s conference and as soon  as there’s something to announce you will find it here and on our social media channels.

Thanks again to all sponsors, all speakers, and all attendees – you are the ones who made this conference awesome!
